LABOR DAY PARADE & EDDIE FEST (FREE!)

Labor Day Parades in America date back more than a century, even before Labor Day was declared a federal holiday in 1884. Chicago has a long and storied history of Labor Day parades that pre-dates the establishment of the Chicago Federation of Labor.

​For the first time ever, attend Chicago’s Labor Day Parade with Chicago Federation of Labor and community partners Saturday, September 2 in Historic Pullman! 

 

HISTORIC PULLMAN HOUSE TOUR

Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8

Join us for the 50th Anniversary of House Tours and see the interior of several private homes in Historic Pullman! Attendees will get to explore the rich history of the Pullman neighborhood including exclusive interior access to some of the most iconic and well-preserved homes in the area. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the architecture and design of these beautiful homes, as well as the history of the Pullman community.

 

HPF SPEAKER SERIES

Every fourth Sunday of the month, through September

Historic Pullman Foundation’s Speaker Series take place every fourth Sunday of the month and cover a variety of topics with unique presenters. Tickets include access to Pullman Exhibit Hall. Come early if you want to see our new 50th anniversary exhibit From Wrecking Ball to National Park.
