See the eclipse at Pullman National Historical Park

With its perfect view to the heavens, Pullman National Historical Park and State Historic Site is hosting an eclipse viewing party from 1-3 p.m featuring NASA Ambassador Mark Benson! Come enjoy eclipse themed snacks, a limited number of viewing glasses, hands-on activities with the NPS Rangers, and Ask a NASA Ambassador Q&A session. Don’t miss one of the greatest events in the universe – there won’t be another chance in Chicago until 2044!

For more information about our eclipse viewing party, visit Pullman National Historical Park. Please bring lawn chairs if you need seating.

Remember: It’s NEVER safe to look directly at the sun. Use special approved solar viewing glasses or create a pin-hole camera to cast a safe shadow to view a solar eclipse. For more information visit: How to View a Solar Eclipse Safely (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov). Or Eclipse Safety – NASA Science.
