Poster signing with artist Mitch Markovitz

To commemorate Pullman National Monument’s Grand Opening, Historic Pullman Foundation has commissioned artist Mitch Markovitz to create a new poster. The poster will be available for purchase ($30) on Grand Opening weekend, September 4 and 5, 2021, in Pullman. Sale proceeds will benefit Historic Pullman Foundation, continuing our work to support Pullman National Monument and Pullman State Historic Site.

Join us at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at our Pullman Exhibit Hall, to purchase a poster and have it autographed by Mitch. Stay for the music of DJ Kelwin and snacks from local food trucks.

Mitch is a fine artist and professional illustrator who also happens to be a railroader. His love of railways, particularly the South Shore Line interurban, is the wellspring of his extensive art career. The banner image above is an example of his work.
