Of Light, Landscape and the Echo of Trains

Todd will present a selection of his recent railroad images spanning the globe in three categories: Landscapes, Cities and In Between. Of great interest to Todd is creating emotive images that speak to context and place. In closing Todd, a native of Chicago, will also present a few favorite railroad images from the city that has shaped to great extent his life.

Members attend FREE, but please register so we know how many people to expect.

 

SPEAKER BIO: Todd Halamka is a practicing architect and founder of Todd Halamka + Partners. TH+P focusses on three core markets: universities; corporate office-retail-residential mixed-use; and hotels. He and his wife Susan have three grown children. An avid outdoorsman, Todd loves to travel, hike, fly-fish and commune with nature, preferably within eye- and ear-shot of a nearby railroad. His focus on railroad photography began in 2011, combining his life-long love of trains and fascination with image-making.

Join Historic Pullman Foundation for its 2022 Speaker Series, highlighting the history, neighborhood, culture, and monument of Pullman. The Speaker Series will take place the third Sunday of every month now through December.
